Kalibo Aklan Flooded

It was only just today when I saw this picture. I couldn’t help but cry when I saw my province so desolated. Kalibo is such a dear place to me. I was born and raised in Manila but I spent lots of my summer vacations there. It was my Mom’s hometown actually. According to her, this is considered to be the strongest typhoon Kalibo has faced. HelpKalibo even quoted that it was now called a ghost town, “it was very dark and you cant see anything if you will not used flashlights”. It breaks my heart knowing that they don’t even have electricity, clean water, means of communication, and even medicine when I’m here in manila safe and sound.
