My Asus Eee Pc - Upgraded!

17 June 2008 84 views No Comment

I bought a new Asus Eee Pc last Wednesday, 11th of June 2008. Good thing I was able to sell my 1 week old Asus Eee Pc 2GB Surf prior to buying a new one. I can testify that upgrading to Asus Eee Pc 4GB non-surf is really worth it. I love the webcam, the speed and of course the battery which is one of my major concern on my previous Eee Pc. I picked the same color, the sexy Galaxy Black. I’ve had several laptops and notebooks already; I even had a 10inch touch screen laptop but I would really say that this is way far my favorite among of them. What I like about the Eee Pc is its super fast boot up and shutdown. I had it changed to Win XP one day after I bought it. It takes about 20 seconds to boot up a Linux OS and 45 seconds to but a Windows OS. Not bad to change after all.

I haven’t tested the battery life but I’m pretty sure it will last longer. It shows 100% on full battery mode which I never get on a fully charged 4400 mAh battery that came with my previous 2GB Surf. I plan to replace my girlfriend’s old laptop which I actually bought for her. Hopefully, I get the budget soon so she would enjoy what Eee Pc has to offer.
