Asus Eee Pc Battery Life
My 90% battery rate is already down to 40% on its first hour. I got the 10% rate on my 1.5 hours of use, and 10% until it slows down and hangs. That gave me 2.10 hours of use. I only get irritated most of the time when it kept on blinking (battery indicator) when I could still use it for more than 30 minutes. Few days after my battery got even more irritating. The 90% battery rate dies down every 5 mins of use. Why is that? I only had this unit for 5 days. I came to back to Asianic where I bought my Eee Pc. Upon check up, their helpful staff replaced it within the same day with a whopping 5800 mAh battery! They ran out of the Galaxy Black Edition of Surf so they had to replace my batt with a different one.
I rushed home and charged my newly replaced battery. I let it charged for another 4 hours. I noticed that it took 3 hours before the battery indicator went off. I was hoping that it will provide me with 3 hour battery life but I was wrong. I tested my battery again with brightness set to lowest then I did some typing stuffs on MS Word. I got 100% battery meter upon turning it on, but it dropped to 90% after 2 minutes of use. Whew! Definitely not what I expected. I’ve searched around Google and showed me results that the 5800 mAh battery should be providing me 3 hours and more laptop use. My batt decreased to 60% on its first hour use. It decreased to 10% on 1 hour and 50 mins of use then it hanged around 2 hours of use until I plugged the Asus Eee Pc adaptor. Whew! My sweat came falling thinking of getting my old 4400 mah battery back. Huhuhu! =’(
