22 May 2008 283 views No Comment

Wow! Finally! I’m now able to transfer songs from any PC / Computer to my iPod. I’m nothing against iTunes; it’s just that sometimes you run out of time in synchronizing your iPod baby at home. I discovered a software that you can use in transferring songs to iPod. Thanks to the creators of Poddox we can now do the ff:Copy Songs / Mp3 from PC to iPodBack up your songs including movies from iPod to PCRemove songs from your iPodTransfer songs / mp3 to iPod without iTunes

Poddox is in executable format, no need for an installation. You can even use it at Internet Café’s and other Computer Shops. Just Download it to your iPod using Flash Drive mode. I was able to use it to my 30GB 5th Gen iPod Video. It was successful. I have also tried it to another 2 iPod Videos that my friend owns and it worked pretty well. By the way, it only accepts files that are in mp3 and m4a format. Goodluck with wma! You can use this to transfer songs, transfer  of movies from PC to iPod are not yet supported. I used it with another friend’s 160GB iPod Classic but no luck. Poddox indicated that the songs were already transferred but upon disconnecting the iPod, it did not recognize all of the installed songs at all, both new and old ones. I copied the old mp3s and movies from iPod to PC using Poddox for backup. Then I restored her iPod using iTunes. It took me too long to restore the iPod as iTunes requires to download the lastest firmware for her iPod. It’s around 50mb that took me almost an hour to download. After which, the iPod was successfully restored. I’m just not sure why Poddox did not work for 160GB iPod Classic. It might be because the firmware is not updated. For those who want to try their luck, you can download the file here.

I will not be responsible for any damage that it might cause. Feel free to try the product at your own risk. Poddox Download Click Here. For more details, visit www.poddox.com.
